New Llwynhendy Community Blog
Carmarthenshire Connect has been working with Llwynhendy Events Committee to establish a Llwynhendy Community Blog.
The blog is supported by Llwynhendy Communities First, who are set up to contribute to the website. The Backs to Basics group and Samba Band are also set up as contributors.
The site is still in its early stages, but once all the groups involved in the Communities First programme get on board, the blog has the potential the be a useful hub for groups to share information locally.
Groups in Llwynhendy currently use posters and the Llwynhendy Communities First newsletter to share information. Communities First doesn't have any other website, so the Llwynhendy Community Blog offers some big advantages in complimenting these communication tools.
Many group members are Facebook users, so there's also the potential to create a Llwynhendy Community group on Facebook to run alongside the blog.

The blog has been up and running for three months and is full of photos, information and comments. It is maintained by the Association's Events Co-ordinator, Joanne Yeo and was initially set up with assistance from Carmarthenshire Connect.
