Pumkin Patch Cookery Classes
Teaching children how to cook!
Last night was the first of three evenings organised by Communities First Glanymor & Tyisha to help children learn how to cook.
The exciting and fun classes are being run by Lisa Fearne from The Pumpkin Patch and provide an opportunity for local children to learn basic cooking skills in safe and friendly environment.
The first class brought children together to cook garlic dough balls and pizza and was a fantastic chance for local children to learn new skills, interact with each other, make new friends and some tasty food!
Over 20 children and their parents attended the class held in the Antioch Centre in Glanymor & Tyisha with two more classes planned for the coming weeks with the next class at 5:00pm next Tuesday (27th January), all children and parents are welcome.
Everyone who participated in the class get their own recipe pack, with all the recipes they have learnt through the project.
If you would like your children to attend, or would like more information, please contact Karen Gibbard at Communities First Glanymor & Tyisha on 01554 777850.
